Jim Lunn

Vice President, Program and Technical Services, Hughes Network Systems Europe

Jim Lunn is Vice President, Program and Technical Services of Hughes Network Systems Europe, the sales and operating organisation for the European market of Hughes Network Systems, LLC.  He has overall responsibility for quality and for the implementation and ongoing service management of all project and programs, together with the engineering services that support Hughes Managed Network Services.

In 1998, Jim joined Hughes as part of the ICO project team working alongside NEC and Ericsson to successfully deliver a global mobile communications network.  He then took responsibility for network engineering and resource management in the company's German office and has since assumed additional responsibility for all field services activities, support services, software development and program management.

Prior to joining Hughes, Jim held a number of positions in systems engineering within satellite communications companies and GEC-Marconi's research centre.
